Room Service host Sarah Richardson transforms a third floor master suite into a passion-filled escape using a delicious mix of color and texture. Sarah designs a sultry, yet relaxed, space with luscious shades of celadon, smoke, silver and cream and a plush headboard made of diamond-tufted velvet.
An existing rug motif inspires Sarah to arrange a sumptuous lounging area incorporating gauzy drapery and extra down and velvet fabrics to complement the current loveseat. Then, Sarah demonstrates how to apply a graphic checkerboard design to the master suite’s large wall, and later, bookbinder Don Taylor binds an anthology of the client's love letters.
Romance, tradition and contemporary lines combine to make this the most serene and romantic room in the house — a comfortable retreat and the perfect place to unwind.
