When shopping for vintage clothing, remember the things that can be fixed are:

• a ripped lining
  
• a torn seam
  
• a broken zipper

Also remember that when an article of clothing is referred to as dead stock, it means that the piece has never been worn!

Don’t freak out if you are looking at labels for washing recommendations and find nothing. Pre-60’s items don’t have care instructions.
