Try these great sale sleuthing strategies!

• Make friends: Oftentimes the sales clerk will notify you when a sale is happening before it starts.

• Pre-Sale: an opportunity to check out sale items before they get marked down.

• Markdown schedule: Every store has a mark-down schedule. The longer the item lasts, the more it gets marked down.

• End of Season: The end of a season is always a great time to find bargains because the stores have to liquidate last season's merchandise to make room for the new season's merchandise.
