Organization Expert Gigi Scandinaro and Interior Design Expert Leslie Neblett.

Organization expert Gigi Scandinaro has these tips for reorganizing your living room so your children have a home for their toys and parents have a space to relax.

  • Create a separate area for kids and adults, putting a rug down in the adult space.
  • Get rid of plastic furniture.
  • Go through toys and decide what stays and what goes and place toy trunks along the wall to store some of what stays.
  • Use small, lightweight storage bins for children's art supplies. It will encourage them to keep their materials together.
  • Move furniture around to create a seating area around the fire place.
  • Replace the picnic table with a coffee table/ trunk that doubles as storage.
  • Move the television and its components into a cabinet.
  • Add candles to the Jacuzzi area.
