Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour 1/3-cup carob powder 2 tsp. baking powder 1/3-cup honey 1/2-cup unsweetened applesauce 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup water 1/4-cup chopped nuts (optional)

Note: Carob is rich in protein and virtually fat free, with only one-third the calories of cocoa.
