Stumped for some fun party ideas? Here are some suggestions from Deanna Cook and the rest of the experts at Family Fun Magazine:
A barnyard bash: Toss a checkered cloth on a picnic table and scatter the yard with some hay. When kids arrive, transform them into their favorite farm animals with face paints and store-bought animal noses. Play Find the Prize in the Haystack.
A disco dance club: Hang the garage with floor-to-ceiling silver and gold streamers and rent a disco ball. Play games like that 70s classic, Twister, and crank those disco tunes so everyone shakes their booty.
Jungle party: Turn your house into a jungle with tropical-color streamers, balloons and strings of light. Set up a petting zoo of stuffed animals. Play games like Jungle Charades and Pin the Tail on the Lion.
Cowboy hoedown: Send out Wanted Poster invites asking guests to come wearing cowboy hats. Have a shoot-out with water pistols and a lasso practice using hula hoops.
