NordfjordNorway's fjords are gorgeous sea channels carved by glaciers. Here Chris Turner and Joanna Curlee take a tour along Nordfjord, one of the most beautiful and hospitable fjords. They begin at Norway's westernmost cape, where a remote medieval monastery ruin invites the curious to explore. Farther up the fjord, native horse stock is bred for its hardiness and its willingness to give travelers rides to captivating viewpoints.
In the glacier-filled interior, Chris and Joanna take their kayaks out on a pristine lake, and return in time for the fresh catch of the day: pan-seared wild salmon.
