Kohala Coast
On Hawaii's Big Island, there's so much terrain to explore. Host Kara Tsuboi begins her trip with a hike in the lush rainforests of the northwest coast, searching for hidden waterfalls on the slopes of an extinct volcano. On the leeward side of the mountain, the forest gives way to expansive grasslands, where she rides horseback to scenic viewpoints. Kara ends her day at a Hawaiian cowboy feast on the beach, where she tries a local fish specialty and experiences the richness of "Big Island Cuisine."
