National scrutiny has ended for the six contestants in The Biggest Loser: Families, but their weight-loss battles continue. The Capers, Parhams and Skeabecks share what keeps them on the path to being slim and healthy.

Q: After elimination from The Biggest Loser: Families, what inspired you to continue your weight-loss program?

Stacey Capers: We started our journey on The Biggest Loser to get healthy so we could ensure our children didn't adopt our unhealthy lifestyles. They served as our everyday reminders, and on those days when I didn't feel like working out, I would just think about our family. Knowing they looked at us for inspiration kept my mind on track. I would also hear Bob's (Harper) voice in my head reminding me that achieving my goals was possible and to be proud of myself. I also felt we had so much to prove since we were the first to get eliminated, so my competitive spirit is also a source of inspiration.

Adam Capers: My quest for better health and fitness were the main inspiration for continuing the program. I wanted to look better and feel better so that I could be a role model for my children.

Amy Parham: I was motivated because I wanted to reach my goal by the finale, but I also wanted to prove to everyone that I was the biggest threat on the ranch. I wanted to prove I was a contender to the people who voted me off.

Phillip Parham: I was most inspired by the fact that my wife and I got to do this together, and I wanted to show America that a husband and wife can still be competitive and love each other.

Coleen Skeabeck: It was realizing how far I had already come on this journey and that there was no sense in looking back. I have everything to live for in the future and it's all about the decisions I make in the present. It gave me the shove I was looking for to continue the journey at home.

Jerry Skeabeck: What kept me going was knowing the condition of my body and knowing what I had to do to change my health issues. The Biggest Loser gave me the tools.
