Get the Edge on Your Eyebrows

  • Avoid shaving between your eyebrows. It will cause a five o'clock shadow and hair will grow back thicker and darker. Instead, pluck.
  • Try eyebrow tinting to darken gray hairs or even out discoloration due to sun exposure.
  • When eyebrows grow too long, past your eyes it makes them look droopy. Trim the eyebrows and it's almost like an instant eyelift.
  • Eyebrow waxing costs about $35 at a salon. "There is no need to fear the pain, its bark is worse than its bite," says Ona Spa's McFadden.
  • Remember to trip your nose and ear hair.
  • Norelco makes the Acu-Control personal groomer and other cordless trimmers for ear, eyebrow, nose, neck, chest and body hair control. Prices range from $17 - $58.
