Hewlett-Packard, Brother, Lexmark and other manufactures have printer/copier/scanner/fax all-in-one machines starting at just $100. If you're still using that old CRT monitor that takes up half the desktop, you can't run away from the new millennium any longer. Put some style on your desktop with a flat panel display.
- Printer/scanner/copier multipurpose machines start around $100 with ink jet cartridges and most print in color.
- With fax capabilities, the machines range from $150-$250. Laser jet multipurpose machines start around $500.
- Prices increase based on the number of pages per minute and the print or scan resolution.
- LCD flat panel monitors range from $300 for 15-inch displays, 4400 to $800 for 17-inch and up to $2,000 for the 23-inch Apple Cinema display.
- Apple's iSight costs $150 and works over a .mac or AOL Instant Message account to provide real-time video conferencing over the Internet.
