Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil
2 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 large bunch broccoli, cut into florets
1 1/2 cups Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc
salt and freshly ground pepper
Directions:
In a heavy skillet, heat oil. Remove from heat and add finely chopped garlic.
Stir for 30 seconds, return skillet to low heat.
Add broccoli and toss until coated with oil.
Add Sauvignon Blanc, salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Transfer broccoli to a heated bowl with a slotted spoon.
Boil liquid in the skillet over high heat until reduced to 1/2 cup.
