Ingredients:
Yield: 10 servings
5 Tbs. extra-virgin olive oil
5 eggs
3 Tbs. Sambuca
3 Tbs. sugar
flour
Directions:
- Mix the olive oil, eggs, Sambuca and sugar in a bowl. Add enough flour to make a firm dough.
- If you have one, use a traditional pizzelle iron. If not, use the electric version.
- Brush both sides of the iron with a little olive oil.
- Place a small piece of the dough into the centre of the iron.
- Close the iron and cook for about 2 minutes.
- Remove from the iron and set aside.
To Plate: Place on a decorative platter and serve as is, or spread jam, chocolate or honey onto the pizzelle.
