Just about an hour north of San Francisco, Napa Valley is considered among the best of California wine country. In the heart of Napa Valley is St. Helena, which was founded in the mid 1800s. St. Helena is home to several historic wineries, as well as the Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery owned by Francis Ford Coppola, Beringer, Charles Krug, Louis M. Martini and Sutter Home. Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel thrive in St. Helena's viticulture.
