Walt Disney World
The Central Florida attraction has four theme parks in one place

Since opening its doors on October 1, 1971,
Walt Disney World
has grown into a monumental complex of four major theme parks and numerous resort hotels over a 43-square-mile area. One of Central Florida’s largest draws, Walt Disney World continues to fill the public’s seemingly insatiable appetite for all things Disney.

The original park, The Magic Kingdom, is most famous for its iconic Cinderella Castle, symbolic of the park’s standing as the ultimate place to revisit the glory of Disney days of yore. The park is itself a replica of the original Walt Disney Land’s Magic Kingdom in Southern California.

Epcot is a slightly more adult-oriented theme park with a focus on technology and world cultures. This is a great park to take your family to, one where you can marvel together over what imagination can accomplish.

Disney-MGM Studios (soon to be renamed Disney’s Hollywood Studios) is home to real television and film production facilities, along with a collection of rides and activities inspired by Hollywood pictures. This is the park at which you can celebrate the best Hollywood has to offer in music, television, movies and theater — Disney style.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is both a theme park and an open-air zoo. Hundreds of species of exotic animals from around the world live here in simulated habitats covering 500 acres.

In addition to the four theme parks, Walt Disney World offers numerous resort options, the Downtown Disney shopping and entertainment complex, two extravagant water parks, the Fort Wilderness camping and outdoor recreation area and numerous other attractions, all linked by a network of roads, bus lines, ferries and monorail transportation. Numerous package deals are available that combine air transportation, lodging and park admission to ensure you get the most out of your visit to Walt Disney World.
