Pull on your skis, grab your snowboard and hit the slopes at these amazing snowy locales

For some folks, winter means enjoying a good book by a warm fire. But for others, winter is all about getting outside and hitting the slopes on skis or a snowboard.

More of a gaper (not a skier or snowboarder) than a skier? Fear not: We’ve rounded up other fun, wintery activities to check out, like dog sledding, snowshoeing, relaxing at the spa or taking in a Sun Valley sunset. There is something for all ages and interests.

Here’s a list of locations throughout North America that are sure to satisfy your snow fix.
