Sprawling. Massive. Gargantuan. Colossal. Pick your own oversized adjective to describe this Nashville landmark located five miles from citys downtown center. The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is not only the largest hotel in Nashville; its also one of the largest in the world. It has 2,800 guest rooms, 600,000 square feet of meeting space, nine acres of indoor gardens, a 44-foot waterfall, and Delta Flatboat tours for a river system located inside the complex.
There are too many activities offered at the complex to list them all, but highlights include shopping at the nearby Opry Mills outlet, a steamboat ride down the Cumberland River on the General Jackson and a night of live music at the Grand Ole Opry located next door.
The guest rooms come at various price levels averaging in the mid to upper $200s per night.
