The Lightkeeper's Cottage is a 19th-century house that's now used as a guest cottage at the inn.

The Lightkeepers Cottage is a fabulous choice for visitors to Edgartown looking for the homey environment of a bed and breakfast with the considerable privacy this tucked-away inn affords.

The inn's guest cottage, known as The Lighthouse Cottage, has a private entrance and its own, exclusive deck. There’s even a charcoal grill for cooking at home. There are also five suites, each with a full kitchen and each named after one of the Vineyard’s lighthouses. Classic furnishings — like canopy beds and antique dressers — are enlivened by a modern sensibility, creating open, bright spaces. The location, meanwhile, is spot-on for anyone hoping to explore Edgartown without much hassle. The painfully adorable village is just outside the inn’s front door, and popular Lighthouse Beach is just a sort walk away.

Suites from $125; the Lighthouse Cottage from $150.
