The Mansion House Inn and Spa is the phoenix of Marthas Vineyard hotels, built by owners Sherm and Susie Goldstein after their popular Tisbury Inn burned to the ground in 2001. The Mansion Inn, in Vineyard Haven, pays homage to its roots with soothing, classic furnishings in its 40 rooms and suites while maintaining a thoroughly modern environment. Rooms are bright and airy, with many boasting contemporary amenities like soaking tubs and plasma-screen televisions. The spas most covetable treatments make use of detoxifying Moshup mud extracted from protected areas by the local Wampanoag Indian tribe. Try the Moshup Mud wrap with a body polish made from honey harvested at nearby Katama Farms.
Rates from $99.
