This all-suite boutique hotel is perfectly located on DePasquale Square and provides an excellent jumping-off point for exploring Federal Hill, Providence's famous Italian neighborhood.
The sizable kitchens in each suite encourage in-room dining; look no further than the quarter's surfeit of Italian grocery stores for supplies. Just be careful with the sauce. The room's white-on-white design might not be forgiving of spills.
Anyone looking for a more private stay may find it at Villa Toscana, tucked behind the Dolce Villa on a quieter street. The rooms here are more expensive but offer private courtyards, balconies and mosaic-tiled bathrooms.
