8 Great Fall Drives

Go leaf looking.

Wisconsin

The leaves aren't the only brilliant reds you'll see on a fall drive on the 50-mile Cranberry Highway Tour. Though the town of Wisconsin Rapids offers great opportunities for shopping and noshing, you'll want to hit the road and meander through gentle farmland for the real stars of the show: the cranberries.

Several farms offer marsh tours, including Glacial Lake Cranberries, and you can stop at the Sandhill Wildlife Area, home to bison, white-tailed deer and bald eagles. Download a map of the Cranberry Highway at www.VisitWisRapids.com; if you prefer to view the bogs and birches from atop a bicycle, check out the map of the Cranberry Biking Trail, a 29-mile round-trip.
