Learn How to Forge Tools

Butler County Community College's Heritage School at The Conservancy, set in a tranquil 50-acre preserve, offers instruction in a wide range of disciplines. In basic blacksmithing, novices learn how to tend fire, forge, weld and other antique tool-making methods. Other courses examine the long-lost art of dulcimer tuning, felt rug-making and pine-needle basket weaving.
