Sandwich Boardwalk
Cape Cod, Mass.

The Sandwich Boardwalk, located in the oldest town of Cape Cod, leads to the public Town Neck Beach. While the boardwalk had been destroyed by Hurricane Bob in 1991, volunteers in the community-donated planks uniquely inscribed with names, ideas, funny sayings and tributes, to restore what had been lost.
