Point Judith Lighthouse
Narragansett, R.I.
"The photo is of the Point Judith Lighthouse in Narragansett, R.I. It's on the grounds of the Coast Guard station. This area is special because it is a beautiful place to sit on the benches and enjoy the wonderful 190-degree view of the Atlantic Ocean. It's also a very quiet place to just let your mind wander and listen to the waves crash on the rocks below as well as the lighthouse foghorn in the background. The Point Judith Lighthouse is positioned where you can see Block Island, and you can also watch the ferry boats heading to and from the port of Galilee. It's best when we stop at a local takeout clam shack for chowder and go sit at the lighthouse for lunch."
