BC Place
Opening, Closing and Victory Ceremonies Venue

BC Place Stadium is in the heart of downtown Vancouver, making it the ideal location to start and end the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The largest air-supported stadium in North America, it's also equipped to accommodate a crowd of Olympic proportions.

During the games: BC Place Stadium will seat approximately 55,000 spectators for the ceremonies, and the covered arena offers visitors and athletes a much-needed break from the cold air.
