- Most espresso is a blend of up to seven different coffees.
- Darker roasts of espresso have less caffeine than lighter roast coffees.

- For the best froth, put the pitcher in the freezer before use and fill halfway with cold milk.
- Once the steam is turned on, bring the wand to the surface of the milk.
- Heat milk to140F.
- The best proportion is one-third espresso to one-third milk and one-third froth.
- Six ounces of cappuccino should consist of two ounces espresso and four ounces milk.
- If you must drink flavored coffee, don't buy it pre-made add the extra yourself. It will taste fresher.
