  • Digital video cameras are becoming more sophisticated, but also easier to use.
  • Standard camera features include auto focus, zoom, image stabilizer and microphone.
  • When making a movie, shoot for specifics.
  • Leave five seconds at the beginning and end of shots.
  • Plan your shots but be ready for unexpected opportunities.
  • Shoot a mixture of close-ups and wide shots.
  • Panning too quickly blurs the image and cause nausea.
  • You can purchase a lens adapter where you buy your camera.
  • Keep your camera on manual focus and use the "one shot auto focus" button when you want to change focus.
  • A single DV videocassette can hold up to 90 minutes of video footage.
