On the FlyA self-described Renaissance man, Ami Arad quit his job as a top sales engineer in San Francisco to launch a high-flying men's store carrying only the finest luxury items, from cigars to cognacs to cashmeres. Arad has convinced his four best friends to make the leap from the dotcom world with him.
They've also quit their jobs -- on the promise that once the store takes off, they'll share in the proceeds. Until then, the four are only making minimum wage and gambling, along with Arad, on the investment of a lifetime.
