Most Memorable Golf Moment: "The tee-box shot at St. Andrews Old Course."

Dream Golf Experience: "To play all four courses at Pebble Beach Resorts."

At 29 years old, Chad Maulsby lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Amy, and Great Dane, Nawla. Chad has spent the last seven years working in the telecom industry, but most recently accepted a senior account executive position with a software consulting firm. Nonetheless, Chad would rather be on a golf course than anywhere.

Coming from a long line of family golfers, Chad began playing golf at the age of 8, following his father and grandfather around the course. At an 8 handicap, Chad still considers himself to be the worst golfer in the family.

Chad Maulsby tells why he thinks he's the best choice to host FINE LIVING's new series.
When asked about his favorite course, Chad answered, "I'd have to pick three. Number one, Kingbarns... if you haven't heard of it yet you will someday. It's considered Scotland's version of Pebble Beach. Number two, The Old Course at St. Andrews... a bit of a quirky course, but c'mon... it's St. Andrews."

"And then there's Holly Lake Golf Course in East Texas. I love this course simply because I've played it more than any other course. My father owns a lake home on the 8th green and all four of my grandparents have lived there since the day I was born. It has been a part of my life since I can remember."

Chad considers Byron Nelson his hero. "I remember when Bruce Lietzke hit me with his golf ball while hitting a wedge into the par 5, 7th hole at the TPC course in Las Colinas during the Nelson tournament. Byron happened to be riding in his golf cart near me and came over to make sure I was okay. I was 11 and in awe. Then, about two months ago I was fortunate enough to spend the day with Byron and his second wife, Peggy, at their home near Fort Worth, Texas. It was the experience of a lifetime."
