Having arrived at her destination, Gia takes a nature hike, then prepares and eats a gourmet meal in the wild. Next, she meets up with a caddie who once had a dream to create a world-class golf course in his native land...and a potato farmer who once didn't even like golf. Yet this odd couple worked together to create the course now known as Barnbougle Dunes, carving it out of unused farmland in the middle of nowhere, on the northern coast of Tasmania near the tiny town of Bridport.
And the work paid off: Barnbougle Dunes is now recognized as the best public golf course in Australia.
