Inspiration and SalvationHeather Templeton travels to North Carolina to meet Pattie Petty, the wife of NASCAR driver Kyle Petty. Pattie runs the Victory Junction Gang Camp, a haven for children living with chronic medical conditions and terminal illnesses. We join Pattie for a typical day at camp and find out what inspired her to create such a retreat.
Next stop, Northern California, where we meet Pat Derby, an animal caretaker. After a lifetime of advocating and caring for mistreated exotics, Pat has fulfilled her dream by creating Arc 2000, a 2,300-acre animal sanctuary for elephants and other species.
