Ingredients per gallon of wine:

1 gallon heavy mountain burgundy wine
1/2-cup brandy
1/2-cup Cointreau liquor
2 apples, cut in 1/2-inch chunks
2 oranges, sliced
2 lemons, sliced
1-1/2 cups sugar, no substitutes
2-liter bottle of 7 Up or equivalent

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients in a large punch bowl, cover and let sit for a couple of hours. It is better if you make it the night before.
   
2. When ready to serve, add a large piece of ice. Don't use cubes because they melt too fast and dilute the brew.
   
3. Add the bottle of 7 Up to the mix before serving, or more or less to taste.
