Fisherman Island (201)Located on the famous lobster coast of Maine, 68-acre Fisherman Island is a perfect summer retreat for family and friends. The 5000 square feet stone home on the island sleeps 15 and has a sauna, steam room, pool and game room. There are plenty of opportunities to explore the hidden coves and lagoon, take boat excursions, fish or go tubing.
Join the Craig family they have made this island their favorite summer retreat. They loved the island so much that when it went on the market they bought it! Sharing the joys of the island with friends is one of their favorite things to do. Join in as they enjoy a New England Lobster Bake birthday dinner, compete in a traditional game of whiffle ball and share camaraderie on a fishing boat. Explore the town of Boothbay and its attractions, like the aquarium that educates children about local marine life and the Boothbay Region Lobstermen's Co-Op.
Fisherman Island Facts:
- Fisherman Island is 68 acres and was originally settled by fishermen in the 17th century.
- The island rents for $230 per person, per night with a minimum of 6 guests and a maximum of 17.
- The main house is over 5000 square feet and can accommodate up to 15 guests.
- All meals are prepared by chef Dave Galin.
- A complete staff for cleaning, cooking and boat excursions is inclusive in the island rental.
- Guests are picked up from Boothbay Harbor for the 15 minute boat ride to Fisherman Island.
- Seth Lewis is available to take guests on a variety of excursions, including fishing, tubing and the harbor cruises.
