In the charming cottage on the island, just as everywhere else around, the emphasis is put on nature, simplicity and harmony.
Follow a young American artist Sarah and her adventurous French fiancé, Stephane, on their very own Robinson Crusoe adventure, far away from their hectic lives in the New York City. They bathe in the St. Lawrence River, tour the 1000 Islands, visit Boldt Castle, (George Boldt was the owner of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City), and enjoy a sunset balloon ride. Some of their other adventures include tubing, flying in an ultra light plane, painting the beautiful island scenery and visiting various local attractions.

- George Boldt founded an usual salad dressing served only in the 1000 Island region.
- Boldt added 1000 Island dressing to the Waldorf's menu and it became famous.
