Swan Island
- Rooms at the Calstock Country Guest House in Deloraine start at $130 per night including breakfast.
- Liffey Falls is one of Tasmania's many state parks.
- The head lighthouse keeper's quarters on Swan Island were built in 1907, and have four bedrooms and two baths.
- The Island rents for $80 per night including all meals.
- The 70-foot lighthouse, built by convicts in 1845, became fully automated in 1986.
- Fairy penguins are the smallest of the species and live in burrows near the shore.
- Summer months in Tasmania are December through February. Average temperature: 70 degrees F.
