Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia (103)
The 300-acre Malaysian island Pangkor Laut offers visitors the chance to experience a lush rainforest and an exotic mix of cultures. Follow a couple who live in separate cities for their first real vacation together at the island's exclusive resort.

First, rendezvous in a spacious sea villa built on stilts over the fabled waters of the Straits of Malacca, then take a day-trip to neighboring Pangkor, and experience an ancient prayer ceremony at the fishing town's elaborate Hindu temple. Next, it's back to Pangkor Laut for a stroll on Emerald Bay's secluded beach, followed by a champagne cruise on the resort's magnificent yacht, YTL Lady.

Pangkor Laut Resort Facts:

  • Pangkor Laut is privately owned, and no "tourists" are allowed on the island–only resort guests and staff.
